Spirit Chronicles Season 2: When Will the Next Season of the Anime Come Out?

Spirit Chronicles is a TV anime about isekai fiction. It was made by Riv and is based on a series of Japanese light novels by Yuri Kitayama. The drama is about Haruto Amakawa, a college student who was 20 years old when he died in a terrible car accident.

Then, one day, he meets Rio, a kid living in a slum, and he feels their thoughts are the same. When Rio’s memories come together, he discovers he has skills he could never have imagined. Even though his mother was killed, he still wants to move up the social ladder and uses this chance.

Early complaints about the anime, which debuted on July 6, 2021, were that it followed a traditional isekai plot and had a stereotypically bossy main character.

Even so, the show’s ratings and some viewers were high enough at the end of the season to make people hope it would be brought back for a second season.

The Plotline of Spirit Chronicles Season 2

The first season of “Spirit Chronicles” is mainly about Rio’s life and how he deals with knowing that he is connected to Haruto. In the last episode of Season 1, Rio stops his friend Celia from getting married against her will. He also discovers that more people from his world have come back to life in Haruto’s world.

With this information, it’s a safe bet that Season 2 will show how Rio and Haruto became connected. Season 2 could also explain why Rio has become so robust since he discovered his connection to Haruto.

There is no doubt that the original light novels have a lot to do with the plot of Season 2 of “Spirit Chronicles.” Monsters and Critics say that Season 1 of “Spirit Chronicles” went through the light novels up to Volume 5. The light stories are still being written, and the 20th volume came out just this fall. So, the anime series has many more materials to draw ideas for future seasons.

The Cast of Spirit Chronicles Season 2

Spirit Chronicles Season 2

We don’t know of any significant changes to the main characters in Seirei Genski: Spirit Chronicles. There will be some new characters, but the main cast will, for the most part, stay the same until the end (of the first series, at least). This is an unwritten rule in modern anime adaptations. This is why we think the main voice cast will return for the second season and any possible future seasons.

We don’t know for sure, so we’ll have to wait a bit, but most of the names on the list below are likely to come back in future seasons of Seirei Genski: The Book of Spirits:

In many places where English is spoken, the first season of Crunchyroll was shown in the original language with English subtitles. In the first season, Marika Kono sang “New Story,” the song that played at the beginning of each episode. This was something new for Kno. Aguri Onishi sang “Elder Flower,” the song that played at the end of the first season—the first season aired on TV Tokyo, BS Fuji, and AT-X in Japan between July 6 and September 21, 2021.

It was also said that an English-language version, called a “dub,” would come out at the end of December 2021. On November 5, 2021, it was confirmed that a second season would be made.

This news has made many fans happy, but it’s just an announcement, so we’ll have to wait for more. Considering all this, the second season of Seirei Genski: Spirit Chronicles is probably very close and will start in 2023. 2022 seems a little too early, and 2024 doesn’t seem likely.
