He was 66, while she was 38. When Shatner got home late one night on August 9, 1999, he found Nerine’s body at the bottom of their swimming pool.
The autopsy showed that she had alcohol and Valium in her blood, and the coroner said that she had drowned by accident.
Shatner got married to Elizabeth Anderson Martin in the year 2001. In 2019, Shatner asked Elizabeth to end their marriage.
