61st Street Season 2: When It Will Be Renewed?

Peter Moffat made the American legal drama TV show 61st Street. Michael B. Jordan, Alana Mayo, Hilary Salmon, Courtney B. Vance, and J. David Shanks, Moffat, is also the show’s executive producer.

The show didn’t start until April 10, 2022, because of a delay. The first episode of the show was supposed to air in 2021. The show got good reviews from critics, and Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 69 percent approval rating. Due to the excellent feedback, the show was picked up for a second season.

The series tells the Story of 17-year-old track star Moses Johnson from Chicago’s South Side, who is going to college on a scholarship. Moses gets caught up in a ruined drug bust that leads to the death of a police officer. His only chance of staying out of jail is Public Defender Franklin Roberts.

61st Street Plot and Cast

The creators of 61st Street Season 2 haven’t said much about the plot. But Season 2 will pick up where Season 1 left off.

Moses Johnson, a talented black high school athlete, gets caught up in Chicago’s criminal justice system, which is known for being very corrupt. Johnson and his lawyer Franklin Roberts are in the middle of a storm because police and prosecutors are looking for revenge for the death of an officer during a ruined drug bust. The police took Johnson because they thought he was in a gang.

Vance plays Franklin Roberts, Tosin Cole plays Moses Johnson, Bentley Green plays Joshua Johnson, Holt McCallany plays Lt.
