July 22 — On August 7, Little Johnstons will return for a 12th season.
In a press release on Friday, TLC shared a trailer for Season 12 and the date when it will start.
7 Little Johnstons is about a family of seven people who are all short. Trent and Amber Johnston are the parents, and their five children, Anna, Jonah, Elizabeth, Alex, and Emma, make up the rest of the family.
In Season 12, the Johnstons will undergo significant changes as a family.
“This year, Jonah moved out on his own for the first time. But when he starts having crippling anxiety, Trent and Amber wonder if he should move back home so they can help him get his life back on track, “an official plot summary says.

What Could Season 12 of 7 Little Johnstons Be About
TV Series Finale says that TLC has hinted that our favorite family will change significantly in the next season of “7 Little Johnstons.”
First of all, Jonah Johnston has moved out of the family home. When he has trouble making it on his own, his parents, Trent and Amber Johnston, start to wonder if he needs to move back in with them for a while.
Elizabeth Johnston and her boyfriend Brice also want to be on their own, but her parents are worried that it might be too soon for her. According to Distractify, the happy couple has been together since at least 2019 and has been talking about moving in together since September 2021. However, Elizabeth’s parents are not convinced, even though she lives independently and pays for herself.

In an exclusive interview with The List, Amber Johnston said that filming “7 Little Johnstons” during the COVID-19 pandemic was challenging, mainly because they had to stay away from the crew, with whom they had become very close over the years.
“We have to plan a lot more and think about it more than we’re used to,” she said. “But, we’re still moving forward, and I hope things will get better.”
The Johnstons want to show that anything is possible and encourage people watching at home to follow their dreams. Amber said they don’t regret anything they’ve said or done. “I’m sure that when our show road is over, I won’t look back and say, ‘Oh, I wish I hadn’t done that,'” she said.

Monsters and Critics asked the proud matriarch what her favorite part of making the show was, and she said, “We get the footage as a family. Our crew does a great job of putting all the pieces together to tell our story.”
