American Horror Story: Was it Scrapped?

American anthology horror television series “American Horror Story” was developed by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk for the cable channel FX. The first film in the American Story media franchise, each season is designed as a stand-alone miniseries, following a different cast of characters and locations within the same made-up world, and telling a distinct narrative with a clear “beginning, middle, and conclusion.” Each season’s plot has a few loosely based on actual occurrences. Many actors perform in more than one season, frequently taking on a different role.

The actors who have returned the most frequently are Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Lily Rabe, who have each appeared in nine of the first ten seasons. Other prominent actors that appeared in five of the eleven seasons include Leslie Grossman, Finn Wittrock, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Adina Porter, Kathy Bates, Jamie Brewer, Billie Lourd, and Jessica Lange.
