Since it first came out on Netflix in early September, the space drama Away, starring Hilary Swank, has been quietly getting more attention and fans. The story of the first crewed trip to Mars feels ominously modern, especially in light of the current pandemic, which has made even families feel isolated and alone. Even though many bad things happened on the way to Mars, like space blindness, a bad case of mono, and a lot of accidents involving water, all five astronauts made it back to Earth alive. Emma, Ram, Misha (Mark Ivanir), Dr. Kwesi (Ato Essandoh), and Dr. Lu (Vivian Wu) can’t go anywhere in space, so if there is a second season, they should all be back.

You can expect to see more of Matt and how he keeps flirting with Melissa (Monique Gabriela Curnen), as well as the return of Matt and Emma’s daughter Lex’s (Talitha Bateman) typical teen antics.
