Doom Patrol Cast: Ages, Relationships, and Characters
Doom Patrol is an American superhero TV show that was made by Jeremy Carver. Jane (Diane Guerrero), Vic Stone (Joivan Wade), Rita Farr (April Bowlby), Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser/Riley Shanahan), Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer/Matthew Zuk), and Chief (Timothy Dalton), who are all part of the DC Comics superhero team called the Doom Patrol, are among the characters in the show. Even though Bowlby, Bomer, and Fraser are back in their roles from the Titans TV show, the two shows take place in different timelines.
The Doom Patrol is a group of strange heroes who all got their superpowers because of bad things that happened to them. The Chief, who was a doctor and took care of most of them, let them live in his mansion so they would be safe from the outside world. In the first season, the Doom Patrol is sent to save the Chief from a dangerous enemy.
Joivan Wade
Born in England on July 23, 1993, actor Joivan Wade is best known for playing Victor Stone/Cyborg in the HBO Max series Doom Patrol and Manyou in the BBC comedy series Big School. Wade also played Jordan Johnson in EastEnders, a BBC soap opera.
Wade was in a few plays by William Shakespeare, and the BRIT School teaches people how to act on stage. Wade gets most of his ideas from Will Smith, an actor who also directs, produces, and writes. He has tried to make a career like Smith’s by writing material, acting in it, and starting a production company. Wade also looks up to Michael Fassbender, Daniel Day-Lewis, Tom Hardy, Kevin Hart, and Dwayne Johnson as actors and professionals. Wade and Percelle Ascott met at the BRIT School and became close very quickly.
Riley Shanahan
Riley Shanahan was born in the United States. In the show Doom Patrol, he plays Cliff Steele/Robotman with his body, while Brendan Fraser does the voice.
April Bowlby
April Michelle Bowlby, who acts and models, is from the United States. She is known for her roles as Rita Farr in Titans (2018) and Doom Patrol, Rita Barrett on Drop Dead Diva (2009–2014), Kandi on the CBS comedy show Two and a Half Men (2006–2015), and Stacy Barrett (2019–present).
Bowlby was cast as Kandi on the TV show Two and a Half Men within a few months of her first audition. She became well-known for her role as Stacy Barrett in the movie Drop Dead Diva. In How I Met Your Mother, Meg, she played Barney Stinson’s crazy ex-girlfriend. She has also been in the TV shows CSI, Psych, and CSI: NY. She’s been in movies like “From Prada to Nada,” “The Slammin’ Salmon,” and “All Roads Lead Home” (2008).
Brendan Fraser
Brendan James Fraser is an American-Canadian actor who was born on December 3, 1968. He is known for leading roles in movies that are both funny and sad. He graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in 1990, and Dogfight was his first movie (1991).
Fraser’s big break came with the movies Encino Man and School Ties in 1992. He became well-known for his roles as Rick O’Connell in the Mummy trilogy and George of the Jungle (1997). (1999–2008). He also played sad parts in Gods and Monsters (1998), The Quiet American (2002), and Crash (2004).
Diane Guerrero
Diane Guerrero was born on July 21, 1986, in the United States. She became well-known for her roles as Lina in Jane the Virgin and Maritza Ramos in Orange Is the New Black, both on Netflix. Guerrero was born and raised in Boston. When the rest of her family moved to Colombia, she stayed there. She backs changes to help immigrants.
She has won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series three years in a row because of her work on Orange Is the New Black. Guerrero wrote a book called The Country We Love: My Family Divided. It’s about when she was 14 and her parents were detained and sent away.

She now plays Jane on the action-drama show Doom Patrol on HBO Max. She also did Isabela Madrigal’s voice in the Disney movie Encanto, which came out in 2021.
Matt Bomer
Matthew Staton Bomer, an actor and producer, was born in America on October 11, 1977. He has won awards and been nominated for a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Critics’ Choice Television Award.
In 2000, he made his first TV appearance on the long-running soap opera All My Children. Bomer has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Soon after that, he got a recurring role on Tru Calling and was hired by Guiding Light.
