At the moment, Dr. Stone has a solid 8.2/10 rating on IMDB, a 4.7/5 rating on Crunchyroll, and ratings of 8.3/10 and 8.18/10 for both seasons on MyAnimeList. This is easy enough to get at least one more season renewed.
The good news for fans is that Dr. Stone has been published in 25 volumes with 232 branches, and the last volume will come out in 2022. There is also much manga content left that could be used for more anime seasons. AnimeGeek, which used to be called Monsters and Critics, says that season 2 of the TV show ended by adapting up to chapter 83. (Volume 10).
Due to the popularity of the show and the amount of material left to adapt, it was always a “ten billion percent” guarantee that Dr. Stone would be renewed for a third season. When will it come out?

This Summer, a Special Dr. Stone Ova Episode Will Come Out
In the summer of 2022, a brand-new special OVA episode from the popular series will emerge. This will be the last Dr. Stone anime episode until season 3 comes out in 2023.
The episode is called “TVSP Ryusui,” about how Ryusui Nanami, an essential character in the next anime season, is introduced. Ryota Suzuki, who has played Yu Ishigami in Kaguya-Sama, Arai in Boruto, and Yukimaru in Fena: Pirate Princess, is said to be giving Ryusui a voice.
TVSP Ryusui will come out in July 2022, but neither a specific release date nor a time when it will be available to stream internationally was given. But the episode will likely come out on Crunchyroll, which has simultaneously shown both of the show’s previous seasons.
