Fear the Walking Dead Season 8: When It Will Be Released?

Fans of Fear the Walking Dead will be happy to hear that the horror spin-off has been picked up for the eighth season.

Deadline broke the news in December, and now that the explosive season seven finale has aired, we’re already looking forward to what will happen next.

Here’s what you need to know about season eight of Fear the Walking Dead.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 Potential Release Date

In recent years, the show’s format has changed. Now, each season is split into two parts.

Since then, the first part has always been shown in the fall, and the second has consistently been shown in the spring. So, if things stay the same, it’s likely that season eight will be made the same way.

This means that season eight is likely to come out in the fall of 2022, and part two is expected to come out in the spring of 2023.

Fear of the Walking Dead Season 8 Plot: What Will Happen?

Morgan’s raft landed in Louisiana at the end of season seven. A seafood sign there confirmed that PADRE does exist, but no one knows where they are.

In the last few minutes, Morgan and (what seems to be) a still-alive Madison are driven toward a big boat out at sea. This suggests that the PADRE base may be nearby.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg confirmed that the finale sets up season eight for “one of the biggest reboots” they’ve ever done.

The first four seasons took place in Texas, but Chambliss said that season eight would occur in Savannah, Georgia, which is on the water.

He kept going: “Morgan and Madison go out on a boat at the end of the season. So, I think it’s safe to say that the setting of season 8 will be very different from what we’ve seen before. And in many ways, it will be based on the water.

Goldberg then told us more about the next season and confirmed that we’d learn more about the mysterious PADRE.

In [episode 16 of season 7], Madison is in a room with mirrors and talking to someone on the other side of a mirror. We’ll figure out who is on the other side of the mirror,” he said. “There’s one more thing I’d like to say about moving to Savannah. Every season, we talk about changing things up on the show.

This will be one of the most significant changes we’ve made. It ever means a lot. Made. We’ll introduce PADRE and see it for what it is by taking away the location. But we hope everyone will be surprised by where the characters are when we meet a lot.

As we already said, it doesn’t look like Alycia Debnam-Carey will be back as Alicia in season 8. In an Instagram post, the actor said that season 7’s episode was her last and that it was “time to move on as an actor and a person.
