Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Will Air in 2023

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will be released in 2023, as was announced during a Japanese event (H/T Crunchyroll(opens in new tab)). No further information is available, however it will probably make its debut during one of the three major release windows for anime in 2023: Winter 2023 (beginning in January 2023), Spring 2023 (beginning in April 2023), or Fall 2023. (starting October 2023).

If we had to wager, we’d think a release in the fall of 2023 is most likely. Along with the first season’s Fall premiere, the animation studio MAPPA also worked on Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Attack on Titan, and the recently released Chainsaw Man. Any studio would find that to be a demanding timetable, but they would have until October 2023 and beyond to produce a second season that meets their impossibly high standards.

Although no release date was announced during a special Toho Animation event on September 25, we now know which manga chapters the new season will adapt and have a general sense of how many episodes we can expect in 2019.
