My Little Monster Season 2: Will There Be a Season 2 of Monster?
My Little Monster is a romantic comedy anime that continues to draw new fans even though it was the first broadcast more than a decade ago. An animated version of the manga series, which ran from 2008 to 2013, is based on this anime.
Many Japanese television stations broadcast the show for the first time between October 2 and December 25, 2012. Thanks to My Little Monster cartoons, aside from popular anime programs like BNA and In/Spectre, we are all familiar with Brain’s Base.
Crunchyroll and NIS America have licensed the anime series, which is still popular today. A new season of anime has begun airing, and we can all see it. After all this time, might there be a second season of My Little Monster?
My Little Monster’s Story
In My Little Monster, Shizuku Mizutani and Haru Yoshida star as two high school students with vastly different outlooks on life. Shizuku is obsessively focused on his studies to ensure a bright future for himself and his family.
He’s known as the school bully who always skips classes and is accused of being violent by past reports. Haru, who is genuinely kind and loving, is unconcerned by the misunderstanding. Because she is so focused on her studies, her peers often refer to her as “dry ice” and avoid her because of her aloof personality.

While Shizuku admires Haru’s childlike and carefree approach toward life and others, he quickly treats her like a close friend. Shizuku is hesitant to put her education on hold to pursue Haru’s affections. They make friends with Natsume and Sasahara, two of their classmates dealing with new emotions.
Taking care of Haru’s pet chicken Nagoya is just one example of the bizarre things the quartet gets up to while they’re all together.
Sasahara had an epiphany toward the end of My Little Monster about his affections for Natsume. When Haru’s older cousin Mitsuyoshi, a father figure to Haru and the owner of the local batting range where the friends frequently congregate, reveals that she likes him, his expectations are dashed.
Shizuku and Haru struggle to understand one other better to lay the groundwork for a healthy relationship as their friends suffer in the name of love. He admires Haru’s earnestness in loving Shizuku and hopes that she will reciprocate his true feelings. Mitsuyoshi’s batting range appears to be revving up for Season 2, with a mysterious new character making an appearance.
Season 2 of My Little Monster premiere date
Season 1 of ‘My Little Monster‘ premiered on October 2, 2012, and concluded on December 25, 2012. Although the first season ended with a significant cliffhanger, it doesn’t always guarantee that there will be another season.
Numerous anime series finish suddenly, leaving many unresolved issues to compel the audience to read the manga. Even though an OVA of the anime was published on August 12, 2013, this OVA has no connection to the series and is set in an entirely different universe.

I believe ‘My Little Monster‘ merits a second season because of the show’s overall comedic tone, which caused many of us to laugh out loud. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the studio will make an announcement soon, even though no formal statements have been made yet.
Based on our best prediction, a possible release date for “My Little Monster” season 2 is in 2022 or 2023. This area will be updated as soon as we have new information.
Is There Enough Material for the Creators for Another Season
To develop the anime’s storyline, the production team turned to the Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun manga series. Manga’s debut volume was published in 2008. The author has published 13 books in this five-year serialization, which ended on June 24th, 2013.
One of them, though, was a one-off edition. In the first four volumes of this series, Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun adapted. Consequently, the remaining eight episodes of My Little Monster Season 2 are still available for use by Brain Base Studio’s production team.
The studio will be able to produce two additional episodes of this show with just eight novels in their library.”
Some of the Favourite Characters of My Little Monster
Shizuku is a typical high school girl with long brown hair that she wears in two twin ponytails behind her ears and a fringe that hangs over her forehead. There would have been a lot of admirers for her if she weren’t such a misfit. Nobody can count on Shizuku for anything.
He firmly thinks that the only people who grow are the self-reliant ones. She is emotionally aloof and worries about earning good marks to one day be like her diligent mother, who has worked hard all her life. Her batch’s class pet had previously died in an accident.

To Shizuku’s dismay, the teacher granted her request to be excused so she could go home and do her homework. After this occurrence, her friends and family were dubbed “Dry Ice” because of her icy demeanor toward almost everything.
Shizuku and Haru’s love story is never explicit, but Shizuku is confident and deep in her feelings for him. She is baffled by Haru’s initial revelation and has no idea how to react to it. Because of Haru’s reputation at school, she is skeptical about the whole event. In the end, she realizes that he isn’t a bad guy, and she develops affection for him.
Haru is a high school student who goes to the same high school as Shizuku and has the same grade. Haru was suspended from school before the anime events, although his suspensions had already expired by the time the anime began.
He skips all of his classes because he’s a disobedient and deranged adolescent. Because of his complex ways, Haru is referred to as the school “monster” despite his attractive looks and lean, muscular build.
It’s surprising when Haru’s genuine character is revealed to be so innocent and naive in the play, given how violent and hot-tempered he initially appears to be. He’s had social anxiety issues since a traumatic experience in middle school left him devastated.
He doesn’t seem uncomfortable near Shizuku for some inexplicable reason. When it comes to schoolwork, Haru is a natural. He effortlessly outperforms his peers, even when he doesn’t put in any effort. He sometimes becomes a passive-aggressive monster because he is incredibly protective of those he truly loves.
