We were eager to see if Love, Simon, the first big Hollywood studio film focusing on gay teen romance, would measure up to expectations. Exactly. Nick Robinson, Jennifer Garner, Katherine Langford, Alexandra Shipp, and Keiynan Lonsdale appeared in the 2018 film Love, Simon.
The picture was charming, amusing, heartwarming, emotional, and sweet in equal measure, and it moved us to tears. When Hulu announced that it was working on Love, Victor, it wasn’t a surprise because Love, Simon was a critical and commercial success.
Victor’s story is told in Love, Victor (Michael Cimino). Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School, is having a hard time figuring out his sexual orientation as well as fitting in at home and at school. Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, the screenwriters of Love, Simon, came up with the idea for Love, Victor. Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli was the inspiration for the film that served as the basis for the show.
A straight-to-series order was given to the show in April 2019 by Disney+. Set in the same universe as the film, but based on entirely new characters, the series is a continuation of the movie.
On Hulu in February of next year, the show will be renamed Love, Victor On the 17th of June, 2020, the first season of Love, Victor will be released on Netflix. The programme was renewed for a second season by Hulu in August 2020, which aired on June 15, 2022. Season three of the series will premiere on Hulu in July 2021.

Victor came out to his parents at the end of the first season, leaving a cliffhanger. The second season began with Victor coming to terms with his sexuality and the effect it had on everyone he cared about.
A love triangle erupted between Victor’s partner Benji and a new love interest Rahim in season two. In the season finale, Victor is left with a choice between the two.
Many honours have been given to Love, Victor including the GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, the Gold Derby Television Awards for Comedy Series, and the Imagen Awards for Best Primetime Program–Comedy, among others. Plot of Love, Victor Season 3
Love, Victor season 3 will find Victor and his buddies “fronted with a new set of difficulties that they must work through in order to make the best decisions for their futures with post-high school plans looming.”
The show’s second season concluded on a love cliffhanger: should Victor continue with his partner Benji despite their issues, or start dating newcomer Rahim? Victor made his decision in the final moments of the climax, but the audience never saw who it was.
So, in the upcoming season, fans will finally get to see who he chooses and what occurs next in his life, which may or may not lead to additional drama in Victor’s life or him receiving the happy ending he so truly deserves.
