Power Book Iii Raising Kanan Season 2: When It Will Be Renewed?
In Power: Raising Kanan, fans of the Power series were taken back to the 1990s to see how 50 Cent’s character was raised. When young Kanan Stark, played by Makai Curtis, is brought into the criminal underworld, he starts down a dark path.
Fans are now wondering how he got to be a murderer since that’s what he’s always been. How is explained in Raising Kanan?
Here is everything we know so far about the newest Power character.
Power: Raising Kanan Season 2 Release Date
We have good news: the second season is on its way! On Sunday, August 14, the episodes will start appearing on STARZ and STARZPlay in the UK. They will be on every week.
The team was so sure that the show would do well that they announced the second season in July 2021, more than a week before the first season even came out.
By the end of that month, the cast was talking about how they had already started filming the new episodes, which would help move up the release dates.
Jeffrey Hirsch, the president and CEO of Starz, said this about the decision for the new season: “One season isn’t enough to tell the story of how Kanan Stark and his fierce, successful, and a force of nature mother, Raq, grew up.
The fact that people worldwide wanted to see more of the Power Universe made it clear that the Kanan story had to go on.”
We don’t know much more than that, except that we can expect to see the new season sometime in 2022.
Since all the other books in the series are also due for new parts, Raising Kanan may come out around the same time as season one, which ran from July to September.
Check back, and we’ll let you know when we have more information.

Power: Raising Kanan Season 2 Plot
The second season of Raising Kanan will start after Kanan tries to kill his dad, Detective Malcolm Howard, with whom he had been fighting.
The young drug dealer shot the police officer and left him for dead. His mother, Raquel, kept him from discovering who his would-be murder victim was.
Kanan thinks he killed someone, but we find out that Malcolm lived through the shooting and is now awake.
At the same time, Raquel tried to frame Unique for the crime, even though he was already in jail. But will the detective agree to the plan to protect his son, and will he tell the truth about how they are related?
Kanan is hiding in Maryland for now, but he still cares a lot about the gang back in South Jamaica, New York.
Raquel is a no-nonsense person, and after she hid him from the people she sold drugs to at first, she was seen bringing him into the family business.
Mekai Curtis, who plays Kanan, hinted that the next episodes would be about how everyone’s actions have consequences and how that “molds and shapes” Kanan.
The official summary says, “As season two starts, Raquel Thomas is in charge of the drug trade in the city, but her son is getting farther and farther away. Kanan Stark returns to Queens, unsure of what will happen with the family business and even less sure about his past because of Detective Howard’s secret.
“Kanan searches for the truth while Raq bravely grows the business into territory where the mafia is hostile. Lou-Lou has other plans for his failing record label, but Raq isn’t going to let his side job stop her from growing.
“Marvin is still Raq’s loyal soldier, but he has trouble getting Jukebox to forgive him and becoming the father he never was. This family’s ties are coming apart, but Raq will do anything to keep them together.
