This October, Santa Cruz County is the place to be for Halloween celebrations. Things to do in celebration of Halloween include trick-or-treating along the Wharf, parades, and pumpkin patches. Take part in some of the best Halloween celebrations the county has to offer.
Trick or Drink: San Jose Halloween Bar Crawl (3 Days)
Barcrawlerz is the best San Jose bar crawl you’ll ever go on. The bars and drink specials at Trick or Drink are unrivalled.

1. Buy your bar crawl wristband in advance.
2) Get your wristband and map of participating bars, their locations, and drink specials at O’Flaherty’s Irish Pub (25 N San Pedro St). To register, you can do so between the hours of 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Friday, October 28; between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 29; and between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Monday, October **WRISTBANDS MUST BE COLLECTED BETWEEN THESE TIMES**
3) No cover at any of the bars that are taking part, and drink specials all night long with your wristband.

Boo at the Zoo
Jeff and Leann Sobrato’s Boo at the Zoo is an exciting new Halloween event for families to enjoy after the zoo closes. Trick-or-treating, rides, animal encounters, and a magician will all be part of this exciting and festive Halloween event, which will require a ticket.
Joining in on this event will allow you to do good deeds while also providing a unique perspective on Happy Hollow. The funds raised will be donated to the Happy Hollow Foundation, whose mission is to increase community pride and participation in order to ensure that Happy Hollow Park & Zoo continues to be a treasured resource for the local population.
Costume Guidelines: Families are invited to come in costume for our Boo at the Zoo event. It is at the discretion of the Happy Hollow management team to determine whether or not a costume is deemed appropriate. Adults may not wear masks that obscure their entire faces (no full-face masks), and prop weapons of any kind are not allowed. For your safety, capes and long fabric will not be permitted on rides.
Kiloween: The Ultimate Halloween Party
Are you prepared for Kilo and Chuy Gomez? For the past decade, Chuy and Kilo have been throwing the best parties around, and they’re about to do it again. On the 29th of October, come to Ultimate Kiloween. We plan on making it bigger and better than before.
If we’re going to do something for Castro Enterprises, we give it 110% or we don’t do it at all. Tickets are available for purchase on Eventbrite. As usual, it’ll be a sellout. Requires a minimum age of 21. Required formal attire. You are urged to dress up.

Beerwalk – Halloween Edition
The beerwalks of the future will deviate slightly from the norm. Only three venues will host the 12 participating breweries and their unlimited samples. Open-air patio service will be available at all breweries (weather permitting). From 1:00 to 9:00, Jack’s will feature DJs playing your favourite tunes.
The Beerwalk wasn’t just conceived as an excuse to try new brews; it was also designed to be a way for locals to get out and learn more about the diverse communities and independent shops that make the Bay Area what it is. The BeerWalk tickets are on sale now at thebeerwalk.eventbrite.com.
There is a new availability level for VIP tickets. You’ll get in an hour early, beat the crowds at check-in, and have four hours of tasting time between 1 and 5 p.m. From 1-2pm, VIPs can enjoy complimentary pizza from Jtown Pizza and exclusive beers tapped just for them at Jack’s.
Admittance Is Open To Everyone The tasting tickets are only valid for the hours of 2 to 5 p.m.
Discounted Tickets for the Early Bird (before Oct. 24) A $40 entry fee will be charged to the general public, with a $60 fee for VIPs.

Take note: tickets are not required for designated drivers. Tickets are required only for beer tasters. Strollers full of kids and the family dog are always welcome, but some wineries may have a strict no-pets policy. Both Jack’s and 7 Bamboo (on the inside) require proof of age in order to enter. Each establishment that serves alcohol has its own policy on this, as does the municipality. The Beerwalk will appear as the billing name on your statement.
