Season 3 the Promised Neverland Release Date: Who Is Sumire Morohoshi?
‘The Promised Neverland’ got off to a good start, and it was one of the most promising anime series in its first season. The anime is based on Kaiu Shirai’s manga series, written and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. It narrates the story of orphaned children who attempt to flee the orphanage after learning that they were merely raised to become demon food.
Following its successful premiere in Japan in January 2019, the first season was promptly renewed for a second season in March.
Season 2 has unfortunately failed to live up to the enthusiasm and expectations that the previous season generated. The second season premiered on January 8, 2021, and ended on March 26, 2021. Despite the disappointment of many anime lovers, there are still many who hope for a third season of ‘The Promised Neverland.’
Is Season 3 of ‘The Promised Neverland’ Confirmed?
Not yet, and possibly not ever. Given the unfortunate destiny of ‘The Promised Neverland‘ season 2, which ended in March 2021, it may still be too early for renewal. Due to the feeble criticism of season 2’s storyline, the anime’s future may be jeopardized.
The first season was successful and well-received by viewers. It has an 8.57/10 rating on MyAnimeList and an 8.4/10 rating on IMDB. Following the outcry, however, the second season’s ratings plummeted. Season 2 has only a 5.43 rating on MyAnimeList.

Season 2 contains “total and utter disdain for the fantastic tone and mood that was so carefully built in the previous season, and rushing a once interesting tale to high hell to make it a sloppy mess,” according to HellLyter in a review.
Fans are continuously pleading with CloverWorks to make a third season of the anime. The studio, however, may be more interested in spending their time and efforts on their new project, ‘Fate/Grand Order – Grand Temple of Time: Solomon,’ given the poor response they received from the previous season.
