Solar Opposites: Season 3 Cast, Plot, and Release Dates

The adult animated comedy “Solar Opposites,” a massive hit on Hulu, will soon return for a third season. An extraterrestrial family crash-lands on Earth after their homeworld is destroyed, and the movie follows their crazy antics — but this isn’t any Clark Kent/Superman story.

This is the idea of the creators of “Rick and Morty,” Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan.

There are no seasons or episodes to be aired out of order here – this isn’t Firefly! (at least, not that we know of). Even though the show’s renewal for a fourth season was revealed only a few days ago, fans are more interested in what lies ahead.

‘Solar Opposites’ Season 3 is coming, and Looper has all the details. Prepare to mark your calendar if you’ve been a fan of the show.

The Plotline Of Solar Opposites Season 3

That’s a great question. However, the family reappeared as trees and bragged about their neighbors in season two, which tied everything together. Where could they possibly go from there? SyFyWire recently interviewed the show’s creators, discussing this exact topic.

For Season 3, Roiland promises “very f***ing stupid stuff,” guaranteeing that they will continue pushing boundaries of what they are (and are not) permitted on television. Aside from allowing the show to “[go] more crazy” with its pranks, the extra-long season allowed them to do so.

So what if Tim’s victims include Cherie and Halk and their little Pezlie? It’s safe to anticipate that the showrunners will continue to be obsessed with the Wall as a show inside a show.

From Hulu in early 2022, ‘Solar Opposites’ will be back.

Assuming Roiland and McMahan aren’t pulling a Suicide Squad-style mind trick on us, the entire ensemble of Solar Opposites should be back for season 3.

That means Korvo (Roiland), Terry (Thomas Middleditch), Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone), and Jesse (Mary Mack) will be back. Like Pupa, Sagan McMahan’s character will also make an appearance.

  • Justin Roiland – Korvo
  • Thomas Middleditch – Terry
  • Sean Giambrone – Yumyulack
  • Andrew Daly – Tim
  • Christina Hendricks – Cherie
  • Mary Mack – Jesse
  • Sagan McMahan – The Pupa
  • Tiffany Haddish – Aisha

Due to Alfred Molina’s Duke (Ringo) in a raccoon attack, he is unlikely to return for the next season.

What Is the Release Date of Season 3 of Solar Opposites?

Based on the show’s prior production timeline, season 3 of “Solar Opposites” should air sometime in 2022. Both Season 1 and Season 2 premiered in May 2020 and March 2021. The awkward period between Fresh Year’s and Valentine’s Day might be filled with new Shlorpian adventures if Season 3 production goes smoothly.

However, a few things could cause this timeline to be inaccurate. When it comes to Season 3, there will be an additional 12 episodes instead of the eight that Seasons 1 and 2 had. Even more challenging to forecast is whether or whether rumored COVID flare-ups will impact production in the future.

Season 3 will be accessible on Hulu as soon as it’s released to the public.

If that weren’t enough, there would also be a Christmas bonus episode between now and the start of Season 3. While many fans “still don’t believe” Roiland and McMahan, the creators lamented in a recent interview with Inverse, which has already been confirmed.
