The crazy main characters of the anime show SPY x FAMILY, the Forger family, are out of the ordinary in every way, but that made us love them even more.
SPY x FAMILY is an elegant and hilarious action-comedy series about a smooth superspy who has to put together a fake family to get close to a target. He doesn’t know that his phony wife and daughter are an assassin and a telepath, but he needs them anyway. We don’t know what will get your attention more than that.
The screwball style has already made this show one of the biggest anime hits of 2022, but when the first half of season one ended at the end of June, we all wanted more. SPY x FAMILY fans won’t have to wait too long for more episodes.
Here’s what we know about the second part of SPY x FAMILY.
Release Date
According to siliconera, Part two of season one of SPY x FAMILY will air on October 1, 2022. After the last episode of part one aired at the end of June, Crunchyroll hinted about the fall release date.
The second part of SPY x FAMILY will have 13 episodes of 25. Depending on when the show starts, the part two finale would be at the end of December after 13 weeks of attacks.
Remember that the original manga is still being written and that SPY x FAMILY part one only covered three of the nine volumes already out (17 individual chapters for those keeping count).

If the second half has the same amount of story, there’s no reason to think that the Forgers will have to say goodbye for good at the end of part two. There will still be plenty of stories to tell.

Part 2 Voice Cast
Part two of SPY x FAMILY will have many of the same great voice actors as the first. Both English and Japanese actors will bring these likable characters to life. The show will still be made by WIT Studios and CloverWorks (a seriously impressive collaboration).

Megan Shipman, who plays Anya, talked to ComicBook.com at AnimeExpo in July 2022 about what makes her character unique.
She said, “I think what people like about her, and what I liked about her, is that she is a child who acts like a child.” “She isn’t like a person who is 10,000 years old but has the body of a five-year-old. She is a child. And I think that makes her so charming: she thinks like a child and writes so well for a child.”
Storyline
As we’ve discussed, the first half of season one of SPY x FAMILY covered three volumes and seventeen manga chapters, so we expect the second half to do the same. That means many details if you can’t wait to discover what happens next.
In volumes, four to six of the manga, Anya, Loid, and Yor get into trouble without giving away too much.
In the second part of SPY x FAMILY, the Forgers and I will meet their new family member, Bond, the big white dog with mysterious powers that we met at the end of the first part.
Anya will also have to take more hard tests at her prestigious school, and we’ll meet a new WISE agent with feelings for Loid that go beyond the job.
Where To Watch
It gives us our first look at two new characters and a lot more of Sylvia, who we didn’t see nearly enough of in season one. The first one seems to be a terrorist who is up to no good, and the second one is Forger’s new Bond, who is a very good boy.
The Forger’s cute dog was teased in the last episode of SPY x FAMILY. Fans of the manga love the dog because it has some… unusual abilities.

Episode Guide
Part two of Spy x Family will have 13 episodes. It comes after the first season, which had 12 episodes and ended in June. In a four-star review for NME, Hidzir Junaini said that the show “perfectly translates the wit and warmth of Endo’s manga into the most charming and enjoyable anime of 2022 so far.”
The anime is one of the 10 best Asian movies, and TV shows NME has seen this year. It is based on a manga series by Tatsuya Endo and tells the story of Twilight, a secret agent from the made-up country of Westalis who is sent to Ostania to start a fake family as part of a plot against it. He doesn’t know it, but his chosen wife, Yor, is a dangerous mercenary, and his daughter, Anya, can talk to people through their minds.
The first issue of this manga series, which is still going on, came out in March 2019. At the moment, it is not known if there will be more episodes of the series after part two ends.
