Tales of the Walking Dead Filming Status

The series started filming in January 2022 in Buford, Georgia. Michael E. Satrazemis directed several episodes of The Walking Dead and Feared the Walking Dead and was in charge of the first episode. In February 2022, it was announced that Satrazemis would direct three of the six first-season episodes. Haifaa al-Mansour, Deborah Kampmeier, and Tara Nicole Weyr would run the other three episodes (who previously produced for Fear the Walking Dead).
