The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 Ending Explained

Din Djarin and Grogu are exploring the mines of Mandalore when a crab-like droid catches Din Djarin and drags him deep into its lair. Din loses his blaster and Darksaber during this, so Grogu is the only one who can help him. Grogu tries to help Din with the Force, but fails. Din tells Grogu to run away and get help from Bo-Katan, which Grogu does.

Grogu uses his speeder to get to Bo-Katan and ask for help. Bo-Katan agrees to help. R5-D4, Bo-Katan, and Grogu get together to form a group that goes to Mandalore to save Din. Bo-Katan fights all the creatures that try to get in her way, and she gets there just in time to stop Din’s captor from taking his blood. Din is out while Bo-Katan uses the Darksaber to get rid of the person holding him.

Din wakes up and sees Bo-Katan nearby. After a short conversation, he tells Bo-Katan how he plans to continue his journey into the Living Waters and find his way to redemption. This time, Bo-Katan only wants to join him to help Din get where he’s going. During the trip, Bo-Katan talks about Mandalore’s history and her time as a ruler there.

At the end of Episode 2 of Season 3 of The Mandalorian, everyone makes it to the Living Waters. But when Din gets there, something he doesn’t know grabs him and pulls him deeper into the deep. Bo-Katan follows, but when he gets there, Din is unconscious and a Mythosaur is already there.

The Mysthosaur is a legendary animal that the ancient Mandalorians used to ride. For a long time, people thought it was dead. Bo-Katan saves Din from the ancient beast, and that’s the end of the episode.
