During the hunt, Denise and Dan fight about how Dan likes to keep things from her and how shady he is with the Walkers. Denise isn’t sure if Dan cut Walker’s saddle.

Later in the episode, these conversations and his last fight with Denise tell Dan that his wife ruined the race for his Walker. He then storms out of the house. They survive the gunfight and tell Cassie what happened when they return to Austin.

When Cassie meets them at Rangers headquarters, she is surprised to hear that they both found Miles and that he is safe and well with his old partner. What does Cassie’s reconnection mean to her? This may be the most critical question. This question could be answered in the next episode.
