Welcome to Plathville, a TLC reality programme that launched its first season in late 2019 and recently finished its second season on January 5, 2021, has had a great second season. Following Kim and Barry Plath, as well as eight of their nine children, while living a rather conventional life in Georgia, is a popular television series.
From 22 to 6, the children have a diverse range of personalities, interests, and aspirations that are difficult to categorise. Hosanna, the eldest sister, resides in Ohio and is thus absent from the programme.
Episodes in Season 1 are centred on the Plath family and their stringent rules, which include no television or sugar consumption as well as being homeschooled and adhering to rigorous Christian principles.

Throughout the second season, we follow Ethan’s development as he learns to protect Olivia against his overbearing parents and to take a position against their severe and damaging decisions.
When will the season 3 of Welcome to Plathville premiere?
As of right moment, TLC has not announced whether or not Welcome to Plathville will be renewed or cancelled. However, given how well the programme has been doing and how enthusiastic the fan reaction has been, it is quite probable that the show will continue as long as the family want to continue shooting.
Fans are excited to find out what happens to Ethan, Olivia, Moriah, and the rest of the characters after the season two conclusion, which was pretty emotional.
Season 1 began in November of this year, with season 2 launching around the same time in the following year. Keeping this in mind, it’s probable that the third season of The Walking Dead will premiere sometime in November 2021, if there is one. Who will appear in the season 3 of Welcome to Plathville?
The parents, Kim and Barry Plath, and eight of their children make up the majority of the cast in seasons 1 and 2 of the show. It consists of Ethan, 22, Micah, 19, Moriah, 17, Lydia, 16, Isaac, 14, Amber, 11, Cassia, 9, and Mercy, 6, all of them are in their early twenties (as their ages are listed on IMDb).
The primary cast also includes Ethan’s wife of the same age as him, Olivia, who appears in the show with the main family. Hosanna, the second-eldest sister, hasn’t made an appearance on the programme yet, but there’s always the potential that she will, along with her husband and kid, will make an appearance in the future.
Other characters that have appeared on Welcome to Plathville in the past include Moriah’s boyfriend Max and Micah’s girlfriend Helena, however both of these relationships have since ended.
The possibility of a third season including any new persons they may be dating exists, since Micah presently has a new girlfriend called Caroline (via In Touch Weekly).
What can we expect from the season 3 of Welcome to Plathville?
Throughout season 2, the major tension has been around Ethan and his wife, Olivia. Olivia is seen negatively by Ethan’s parents because she has exposed him to things such as non-Christian music and alcohol, and they are concerned that she may spread this negative influence to his younger siblings.
As a result of informing the young couple that they would not be able to meet their younger siblings unless she and Barry are there, Kim has damaged her connection with Ethan to the point that he has said that he and Olivia will not be coming again until she changes her mind about his wife.
Following on from that, a third season would most likely centre on Ethan and Olivia’s lives on their own, with the prospect of relocating hinted at in the season’s conclusion. As for the other siblings, Micah is starting his modelling career, and Moriah is trying to find out what she wants to do with her life, whether it’s singing, acting, or something completely different from singing and acting.
The children who have been left at home with Kim and Barry have a lot to deal with as well, having been separated from their older siblings. In season 2, Isaac expresses an interest in joining the Air Force, maybe as a means of separating himself from his family, while Lydia continues to suffer with the family’s dissolution. Kim and Barry seem to have no intention of apologising for their acts in the near future.
