Who Killed Santa : Murderville Murder Mystery ,Release Date, Plot, and More Details Explored!
Who Killed Santa?, a new Murderville mystery thriller on Netflix, came out just in time for Christmas. Fans of Murderville know that every day for senior detective Terry Silver is a new murder case, whether it’s a normal day or Christmas.
About the “Who Killed Santa”?
On the most important day of the holiday season, everyone discovers that their most beloved symbol of the season has been murdered. Santa Claus. Together with Maya Rudolph and Jason Bateman, Detective Terry Seattle sets out on a journey to determine who was responsible for Santa Claus’s death.
Few things say “Christmas” like finding out who killed Santa Claus, but Murderville keeps the holiday spirit going. Who Killed Santa?, the Christmas episode of the Netflix show, has Will Arnett back as Detective Terry Seattle.
In his most recent job, he is in charge of security at a Christmas party. But when things go horribly wrong, he teams up with celebrity homicide trainees Maya Rudolph and Jason Bateman to find Santa’s killer. After its premiere on December 15, Netflix Is a Joke has released a look at how the special was made.
The featurette starts with a look at the chaos of the special, including how Rudolph and Bateman go into the case without knowing anything about it, which is a typical part of the series. Krister Johnson, the show’s writer and executive producer, explains what the show is all about. He says that even though people know what to expect to try to be ready, they still get to see how celebrity guests handle every situation.
In the most recent special, Bateman and Rudolph not only had to solve a murder, but they also had to deal with a group of orphans who were waiting to meet Santa (played by Sean Hayes). They did a pretty good job of making Santa seem alive, at least by children’s standards.
Laura Murphy, the director, goes on to say that they plan to do no more than two takes of each scenario. The first take is intended to highlight the stars’ natural reactions, such as when they break character or react in some other unexpected way to the incident, while the second take is set aside for anything else that may have been overlooked.
Murphy also provides some background on the camera rig. This is demonstrated when Rudolph’s response to a name for a character sets off a train of puns so funny that even the ghost of Santa can’t help but chuckle
Terry Seattle, the senior detective, has returned, and this time the case is critical. Along with Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph, he is on a mission to determine…who killed Santa Claus? The hitch is that Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph will not receive the script.
They are unaware of what is about to occur. Together with Terry Seattle (and many surprises), they will need to improvise their way through the investigation, but it will be up to both of them to identify the perpetrator.
