Elden Ring Nightreign: Alter Site of Grace Explained

At the center of Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring Nightreign lies the Expedition Table, which also functions as the Great Site of Grace. As you progress through the game, the table’s look and the Hold’s interior atmosphere can shift dramatically, fluctuating between opulent and bleak without warning. The newest content update now allows you to control its appearance, but you must first unlock and locate this feature. If you’re curious about how to do this, here’s a complete guide to the Alter Site of Grace option in Elden Ring Nightreign.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN ALTER SITE OF GRACE EXPLAINED

As noted earlier, the ‘Alter Site of Grace’ option lets you modify the look of the Great Site of Grace at the core of Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring Nightreign. To access this choice, you need to interact with the newly introduced Collector Signboard. However, unlocking this vendor requires you to complete the Everdark Sovereign version of the Gaping Jaw expedition first.

Once unlocked, interact with the signboard to find the Alter Site of Grace option. The initial activation costs one Sovereign Sigil, but afterward, switching between appearances is free. After using this option, return to the Expedition Table and you’ll notice its look has changed significantly from when you initially spawned.

By using the Alter option, you can toggle between two distinct visual styles for Roundtable Hold. The first preserves its classic design, featuring the table and surrounding structures bathed in gold. If you prefer a darker atmosphere, selecting the option again will shift to a somber setting. Here, the environment is gloomy, with dust swirling thickly around the table and the nearby furniture broken apart.

It’s unfortunate that this feature wasn’t included in the original Elden Ring, as the 2022 soulslike offered much more variation regarding the Hold’s ambiance. Nonetheless, it’s encouraging to see FromSoftware introduce this customization in the spin-off.

That covers everything you need to know about the Alter Site of Grace option in Elden Ring Nightreign. Which of these two visual styles do you prefer? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
