How to Transfer Data on Vodacom to Next Month?
There is no way to move data from one month to the next on Vodacom. But you can choose to extend the validity, which is also known as “rolling over” the data. This means that if you still have data on your account, it will soon be invalid (say within two days).
When you add new validity to your account, the old validity will be extended, and the remaining data will be moved to the new expiration date. So, a user can pass on their data to their next set of validity, as long as the bundle hasn’t already run out.
How to Transfer Data Using Vodacom App?
Using the Vodacom app, you can share your data with your family using “family share.” You need to join the RED membership plan to do this.
On the website for the RED membership plan, you can find the prices and all the details, such as the different types of subscription plans. So, here are the steps you need to follow to transfer files using RED family share:
- Open the Vodacom app and sign in to your Vodacom account.
- Pick a “recipient” with whom you want to share your information.
- Choose the “amount of data” that you want to send.
- Check the method.
Things to keep in mind:
- For each person you send your information to, you will have to pay a processing fee of R25.
- You can only choose up to 6 people.
- You can only send 1GB of data to each person every month.
