This is a true story that might leave you in utter despair. This terrible tale tells the account of Junko Furuta, a 17-year-old Japanese girl kidnapped, raped, and tortured mercilessly for 44 days before four teenagers brutally murdered her in 1988.
Afterward, her murder case was known as “the concrete-encased high school girl murder case” since her body was found in a concrete drum. There have been numerous killings, but Junko Furuta’s murder story has taken it to a new level of heinousness.
In her final 44 days of life, Junko was subjected to unbearable suffering. It was even more startling and unsettling to learn that four high school students performed these heinous deeds! Four young men were responsible for this horrific act: Hiroshi Miyano, Nobuharu Minato, Kamisaku Jo, and Yasushi Watanabe.
Brutally Killed: Junko Furuta, a Japanese Girl
Teenage Junko Furuta attended Saitama Yashio-Minami High School in Japan when she was killed. Like any other high school student, Junko had her own goals and aspirations that she hoped to achieve. In addition, she had some other positive traits that made her a popular choice among her peers. She was a non-smoker and non-drinker. She was also drug-free.
Hiroshi Miyano, a high school student, had a crush on her. She was very stunning. Junko rejected his proposition the moment he presented it to her. Hiroshi was enraged by her rejection and intended to retaliate against her somehow.
What Happened to Junko Furuta?
On November 25, 1988, a random boy knocked Junko off her feet as she rode her bike home from her part-time job. Miyano approached her as though she were there to aid her. Miyano and his three companions kidnapped Junko in a flash, and Junko didn’t even know what had happened.
In Adachi, Tokyo, one of the kidnapper’s parents had a property, so they took Junko there. The lads forced Junko to phone her parents and explain that she had run away but that she was safe with some of her friends and would be staying with them for a short time now.
The boys then proceeded to torment the little girl in real-time. Even in the worst nightmare, the misery they inflicted on Junko is beyond comprehension. Junko was subjected to 44 days of torture by the boys. This was 44 days in which she was kept completely naked. More than 500 times, she was raped by 100 different men.
The Lads Brutally Tortured Junko Furuta
Junko was subjected to a variety of horrifying methods by the boys. They savagely abused her. Her genitals were punctured with scissors, bottles, an exploding light bulb, grilled chicken skewers, roasting needles, and an iron. Various other portions of her body were also scorched throughout the process. They didn’t even pause to consider the consequences of removing her breasts. Even insects and urine were on the menu for the young woman.
Boys pushed Junko to the edge in their attempts to abuse and assault her. Inappropriate behavior: They peed all over her. She was nailed to a ceiling beam so that they might use her as a slingshot. In the winter, she was forced to sleep on the balcony. The dumbells had a crushing effect on her tummy. Her suffering seemed to have no end.
There were times when they beat her with golf clubs and even iron rods. They pierced her body with needles to create several punctures. Even the nasty males burned her genitals, clitoris, and eyelids with a cigarette lighter. She had a twisted nipple from the pliers. Junko was in such much pain that she couldn’t even stand up. To get to the bathroom, she had to crawl down the steps.
Junko was able to call the police after being kidnapped and tortured for around twenty days. Before Junko could say anything, the boys snatched her phone from her hands and ended the connection. As a result, she was subjected to a painful punishment: the scorching of her legs. On her thighs, they poured lighter fuel and set fire to them. That left her unable to walk at all.
Because of a blood clot in her nostril, she could not breathe. She couldn’t even eat because of the internal bleeding, which caused her to vomit. On the other hand, the horrible lads beat her up for puking on the carpet.
Junko Furuta – Death
After about 30 days, Junko even stopped urinating. Her eardrums were also damaged in the incident. Junko ultimately begged to murder her and close it all because she couldn’t take it anymore. After 44 days of captivity, her captors mutilated her body.
Even the mangled body was beaten with an iron barbell by the youngsters. Later, lighter fluid was thrown on her face, stomach, legs, and other exposed areas, and she was set ablaze with it. This last episode of agony lasted somewhere between two and three hours. On January 4, 1989, Junko ultimately succumbed to her illness.
The most unfortunate aspect of the Junko Furuta case is that the ruthless assassins were spared the death penalty or even life in prison since they were all under 18. The other three boys were barely seven years old when Miyano was sentenced to twenty years. There is a good chance that all four of the inmates have been freed from prison.
