White House Faith Office Forms Prayer Chain in Washington DC Like a Cult to ‘Shake America’ for God: ‘MAGA Theatre’

Amid troubling events unfolding across America, members of the White House Faith Office assembled to pray for the nation. However, this gathering drew sharp criticism online, with many labeling it as “MAGA theatre.”

A video shared on X featured at least a dozen formally dressed officials, each wearing an ID badge, standing in a circle in front of the White House in Washington, D.C.

White House Faith Office officials praying

The officials were seen fervently praying, led by a woman clad in a white pantsuit carrying a Louis Vuitton handbag. Beside her stood another woman dressed in a knee-length blue gown. The prayer began with the leader stating, “We just thank you right now, Lord. From the east, the west, the north, and the south, you will shake America with your power and your glory.”

She continued to declare blessings over the White House while canceling out every “assignment of the enemy.” “This nation was birthed to be one nation under God, and we are standing on the soil of the White House, and we are declaring on your word, every place that our foot will tread, you will give it to us.”

Galvanized by agreements from her fellow officials, the woman’s prayer grew more impassioned, asking God to restore America to Himself. With a trembling voice, she uttered, “We will come back to God. Nothing will stop this nation.”

Despite the emotional intensity of the prayer session, many online observers questioned its authenticity. One commenter stated, “Jesus commanded not to pray in public, because those who do are arrogant and false.” Another wrote, “Gross. I’m sure the God of the Old Testament would love a skirt above the knees, too.”

Several critiques focused on the officials’ attire, deeming it inappropriate for a Pentecostal prayer setting: “Blue dress is too short and tight. White jacket lady wearing pants. Both women have haircuts and makeup. This is not Pentecostal prayer. This is MAGA theatre.”

One observer noted that if the woman leading the prayer was truly serious, she would have left behind her designer handbag. Another responded, suggesting she couldn’t put down the Louis Vuitton bag because it was “provided to her by tithe funding.”

Fuming, yet another commenter remarked, “As she holds her LV purse. You’re so Christian. Sell that purse and help the homeless.”

One user cited Scripture, emphasizing that God fed the hungry and clothed the naked, contrasting this with government officials who, in their view, were depriving the poor of essential food and healthcare. This person added that the officials deserved a special place in hell due to their role in “breaking up families of non-violent, non-criminal immigrants.”
