HYUNDAI MOTOR MANUFACTURING ALABAMA AND ITS TEAM MEMBERS DONATE TO THE HEART OF ALABAMA FOOD BANK
MONTGOMERY, Ala., June 18, 2025 – Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, LLC (HMMA) team members have once again demonstrated their significant generosity and collective spirit by contributing $14,209 from their personal earnings to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank during HMMA’s recent annual food drive. Reflecting on this impactful employee effort, HMMA further supported the cause with an additional $10,000 corporate donation, elevating the total amount contributed to $24,209.
Mark Rader, HMMA President and CEO, commented on the donation, stating, “HMMA is characterized by a culture of giving, inspired significantly by our 4,200 dedicated team members. This contribution, where over half originated directly from the personal funds and goodwill of our employees, represents far more than just a figure. It translates into groceries on shelves, meals provided to tables, and essential hope for those currently worried about affording their next meal. Their profound commitment to community support is not just inspiring; it is a defining aspect of who we are.”
Every dollar donated to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank has the capacity to provide five meals to individuals in need across Alabama. Consequently, the combined donation from HMMA and its team members equates to furnishing more than 121,000 meals for people facing hunger and food insecurity throughout the River Region and beyond.
