Meghan Markle Faces Another Blow as South Park Plans New Episode Mocking Her Viral Pregnancy Twerking Video
Meghan Markle takes another blow as South Park prepares a new episode satirizing her viral pregnancy twerking video. The Sussexes’ decline in popularity in the U.S. has been largely linked to a satirical South Park episode released in February 2023.
The episode, titled The Worldwide Privacy Tour, harshly mocked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s persistent attempts to secure privacy from intrusive media, which allegedly led them to distance themselves from the British royal family. The show portrayed animated versions of Harry and Meghan engaging in highly public activities while ironically demanding privacy and warning anyone who glanced their way not to look.
This satirical depiction sparked laughter but also opened the door for critics and comedians to target Harry and Meghan without restraint. Although the South Park episode damaged their reputation significantly, there has been no indication of recovery. Meanwhile, Comedy Central is reportedly preparing another episode focusing on Meghan’s recent video dancing while pregnant.
Meghan’s Twerking Video Gains Traction
Meghan posted the widely criticized clip on Instagram on June 4 to celebrate the fourth birthday of her daughter, Princess Lilibeth. She explained in the caption that the pregnancy was overdue, and after trying several methods to induce labor, dancing was their last resort.
The video depicts Harry and Meghan dancing to Starrkeisha’s The Baby Momma Dance in the hospital delivery room. Many found the clip cringeworthy and inappropriate for someone associated with the British royal family. Critics also accused Meghan and Harry of hypocrisy, pointing out that Meghan had taken great pains to keep her pregnancy private four years ago but later shared this intimate moment publicly.
Following the backlash, numerous social media users called for South Park creators to satirize Meghan Markle again, specifically focusing on her pregnancy and twerking video. Many suggested the episode be named ‘Respect Our Pregnancy,’ a twist on the Sussexes’ well-known demand for privacy.
Rumors circulate that Paramount+ has already approved a parody episode entitled Respect Our Pregnancy. This new episode could add tension to the Sussexes’ life in California and within royal circles.
Meghan Markle Reportedly Wary of Upcoming South Park Episode
Rumors indicate that Meghan Markle’s team is already mobilizing to prevent the new South Park episode’s release, even preparing legal documents aiming at a potential defamation lawsuit. In spite of these claims, fans eagerly await the episode, encouraging Paramount+ to include even more sensational material, such as the Sussexes’ alleged high-speed car chase in NYC, Harry’s security struggles, and ongoing changes in their PR staff.
One Reddit user commented:
“This is wonderful news if true. The only thing I’d also like to see is the high-speed car chase in NYC where an old person with a walker is passing them. Unrelated, but I’d also like to see a 9-month pregnant woman copy Meghan’s dance. It’s just unnatural to me how her belly moves up to her chest when she’s twerking.”
Another added:
“I’m torn… on the one hand, it would obviously be hilarious and cutting. On the other hand, it stamps Haz and Megz as still being relevant in the public eye, and I hate that being reinforced. I also think South Park can’t improve on the perfection of their Privacy episode.”

A third user said:
“I truly hope South Park takes another jab at them. That will bring attention, but the Sussexes need to grow some thick skin.”
Many dismissed the idea of Harry and Meghan launching a lawsuit against South Park creators, noting that parody is protected under the First Amendment. Furthermore, the lack of denial by Paramount+ and Comedy Central fueled speculation that the episode is indeed in production.
Since South Park’s season 26 last aired on Comedy Central in March 2023, the show has taken a hiatus with no new episodes released. However, with HBO Max set to drop the series, South Park plans to return for its 27th season on July 9, 2025, primarily streaming on Paramount+. Although it is not confirmed if the upcoming season will include the anticipated Respect Our Pregnancy episode, the series is known for airing special episodes in response to current events.
