A man in Oregon was reportedly seen carrying a urine-soaked cat with a cord around its neck and attempted to push the person who was filming him as he fled. The man is still at large, and the person who recorded the incident shared their account.
The Reddit user magdalene-on-fire posted the following:
Found this man literally peeing on a poor kitten with a cord tied around its neck… When I took my phone out to record him in order to get evidence, he assaulted me. Does anyone recognize this man?
The user, magdalene-on-fire, posted a video and statement in the PortlandOR Reddit thread seeking help in identifying the person who allegedly assaulted them and mistreated the cat. In the thread, the user stated:
Thankfully I’m okay, he didn’t push me very hard (and it was kind of a hilarious way he did it, so it’s a little hard to take seriously). This occurred at SE 25th and Morrison. If you see this guy and this cat, please report it to the non emergency line.
I don’t have evidence of the actual peeing other than a picture of the puddle of piss on the ground. You can see in the video that the cat is slightly wet.
As one might expect, the video and the user’s account of the incident sparked strong reactions online. Some of the comments included:

However, at the time of this report, there has been no confirmation regarding his identity or whether he has been apprehended.
