After the Lexus stops, the driver shifts the car into reverse and suddenly backs up, striking one of the protestors standing behind. The camera shakes violently from the impact, and several personal belongings are scattered across the street. Nearby witnesses chase after the driver as he flees the scene, ending the footage.
Although succinct, the video clearly shows that the driver intentionally reversed into the protestor behind the vehicle.
The clip has sparked outrage online, with viewers shocked by the driver’s aggressive action. One Reddit commenter remarked, “Well that’s a straightforward case,” while another stated, “Runs over? This is attempted murder.” Additional reactions included comments like “Straight to jail.”

However, the current Portland incident differs, as the protestors were not obstructing or “impinging” on the driver’s path; the road was clear. Instead, the driver deliberately reversed into the protestors, which represents an entirely distinct situation. Furthermore, this incident took place in Oregon, not Florida.
